We had an awesome time at our wedding, and the music went wondefully! I was sent example playlists from other weddings and was able to hand pick every song that I wanted, the order, etc. The lights used were awesome, and all sound was great. The processes of booking with Ryan was almost "too easy" but if it works it works. You simply go onto his website and click on all the things you would like to book and then your booked...easy! he also will take time out to instant message you if you have any questions. Over all I had a really great experience with Ryan. Also I went for the party lights cause they weren't that expensive and it was totally worth it, it made my little barn dance to like a barn club.

Ryan was a pleasure to work with! I found DJRT online after a very long search for a non-cheesy, professional, and affordable DJ for our wedding. I had emailed a lot of DJs and I was so happy when I finally found Ryan. He answered promptly, was very affordable, and was friendly. I met with him in person prior to booking and he came prepared and was so easy to work with. I booked him right then! Closer to the wedding, I emailed Ryan a complete list of must play songs, specific wedding entrances, do not play songs, and much much more. On the day of the wedding, Ryan did every little detail seamlessly! He announced the wedding party, played the exact songs I had requested at the times I asked for, dismissed tables for our buffet dinner, and followed all of my requests. I dont think I ever spoke with Ryan or his assistant on the day of the wedding because there never was a need to. He was on top of everything! There were always a ton of people on the dance floor. He played the perfect mix of slow and fast dance songs. He cued the music at the right time and announced the events as needed. And best of allhe was not cheesy at all!! I am so happy that I found Ryan for our wedding. It wouldnt have been the same without having him as our DJ!

My husband and I are actually from AZ and decided to get married in WA (my husband is from Seattle). So basically we had to plan our whole wedding via the internet, phone and email. We found DJ Ryan online and after speaking with him, I felt pretty confident in hiring him. We flew in the day before our wedding, so I didn't get the chance to meet Ryan until our reception but I am very we hired him. He was great! He made sure to play the songs from my "must play" list. DJRT was very professional and really cared about every detail for our event. We booked him for a wedding reception, and everyone had a wonderful time. We had a complicated first dance, and DJRT was very sure to make every detail come out great. The only reason he's not getting 5 stars is because we didn't feel he played enough of the songs on the playlist we gave him. After the party, we realized "hey, he never played ____ ! DJRT is a dj company owned by Ryan Tilton who is himself a DJ and took on our wedding. He is a very confident, well-spoken guy and he has a TON of experience for such a young man. His website is fully automated, which is nice too...you can see exactly what you are going to pay before you even talk to him. Ryan was great. I gave him a playlist very shortly (maybe a week before?) the wedding even though he had asked for it a month prior. Oops. I had some must-plays, but left a lot up to him to kind of feel out the tenor and mood of the wedding. In addition, although I had chosen the processional, recessional and bride's entrance songs, I left the pre-ceremony music up to him with the vague instructions "classical-sounding" and "I like piano". Ryan did a phenomenal job with the music at the ceremony and the reception. The dancing was great, he really picked up on what people responded to and played so much music that I loved but hadn't even thought to put on my play list. He did a little bit of MC'ing, and he did it well, but we didn't have a whole lot to announce either. He was actually probably the one vendor that I noticed least, because I never had to go over to him to say, "now do this! now say this!" or "now play this!" He just rolled along on his own and after the wedding I realized I had hardly said two words to him. Oops again on me, but I would like to think it's because of how seamless his work was. He made it a great party, and for weeks we heard from people saying it was some of the most fun they've had at a wedding, which was really our goal. So since I forgot to say it then, I'll say it now...THANKS RYAN!

I chose to use our DJ, Ryan, because he was the DJ for my husband's cousins' wedding and we thought he was great...the cost was also actually reasonable. I remembered spending a lot of time on the dance floor at their wedding. We were not disappointed at our own wedding. Ryan was set up and ready to go when dinner began. Not having a lot of experience with weddings, Ryan helped me with the timeline of events for the night, provided a hand held microphone for our toasts, and spoke to everyone with a smile. He encouraged and played requests from our guests, which they definitely loved and kept them on the dance floor. Ryan was the first person to refer to my husband as my husband (I went to correct him to fianc, hah!) so that was a memorable moment. Ryan played the last song of the night we requested and even offered to send us off with a "last, last song." The bottom line is that Ryan was very professional and did a great job; I will recommend him to my friends and family.

Can't say enough about DJRT! We had been to 7 weddings already of friends and family where he had been the DJ, so we knew we wanted to use him. Not only is he much more affordable than most DJs in the area, he is extremely professional and communicative before the event. Day-of we realized that I had forgotten to include an extra 1/2 hour in his contract... no worries! He stayed for the extra time and just emailed me an invoice the next day. We had many last-minute song requests and a few changes to our "special songs," he was accommodating and made all of them happen!

Ryan was the most awesome DJ I have ever worked with. I was married on June 28th, 2014. (I have attended 25 + wedding in 3 years and helped chair school auctions) WE left the playlist open to Ryan. Ryan did a fantastic job at our recent wedding on board MV Skansonia on Lake Union, Seattle. It was very easy to create our play list, including precisely what songs to play at what time during the ceremony and reception. Ryan was always responsive and on the day of the wedding was very punctual. During the reception he was able to meet all requests for special songs. The fact that he also carries an air card meant that even if he didn't have the song already downloaded, he could get it in seconds. Ryan also had good equipment and the sound was just right, without resorting to the annoying over-boosted bass which some companies sometimes do. Ryan did a great job at our wedding (Sept. 2011). All of the communication was fine and clear. He did an excellent job both during the ceremony (mic & speakers) and the reception (MC, music, lighting). My husband and I had provided a comprehensive list of music we wanted and when (e.g. for cake cutting, anniversary dance, bouquet and garter toss). Several of our guests commented on how great of a DJ he was. Though, we'll take the credit on the music - he knew what to play and when to keep the party going. There was just one mishap with a song that got cut off ("Home") and one song that I didn't recognize (a song not on our list, but still sort of danceable). All in all, though, I would definitely recommend his service.

Dj Ryan was perfect at our wedding. He was very reasonably priced and provided everything we needed from a DJ. He was always prompt and clear in his communications. His contract and invoice were very clear also.. He was professional and on time for the event. He played all the songs we requested. Everyone was up dancing and had lots of fun. He had everything set up in a timely fashion and played a great mix of music during the reception. I would definitely suggest him to any friend getting married in the area.

Ryan was amazing. I gave him a schedule but it wasn't the most in depth schedule probably for him to work with and even as things changed he worked with it. He is very inexpensive for the service he provides. We truly appreciate having him as out DJ and wouldn't have changed it.

Ryan made our Wedding run very smoothly. And the music was wonderful. He had asked us for a list of music that we would like to hear and the songs for First Dance, Mother / Son , Father / Daughter Dance etc.. and went on our schedule for when we wanted them played. I was so pleased with DJRT's services at my wedding. They arrived on time, with all of their equipment, and needed very little direction to get set up. They understood what kind of music we wanted to hear and even more importantly, what kind of music we didn't want to hear. They kept my guests and I dancing until the end of the night by playing a repertoire of music that had something for everyone. Seeing my husband and I's two families blending on the dance floor was a highlight of the evening. Thank you DJRT, for delivering exactly what you promised.

Ryan (DJRT) was so great to work with. We saw him DJ at our friends wedding a couple months prior to ours and called him right after to see if he could do ours. He got everything right from the ceremony music to the dance floor. He showed up on time, his timing on music was great, made the announcements we asked but did not interrupt the flow of the night, and was very professional. When the allotted time that we reserved him for was up the night was still going and Ryan was willing to let us pay him to stay a bit longer, which we really appreciated. He also sent me samples of song lists from other weddings to help me create ours which was awesome. We have probably been to about 4 weddings total that have used him now, each who have seen him at a friend's wedding and decided to use him as well. Couldn't recommend more highly.

After an pretty exhaustive search for a DJ we decided to go with DJRT and boy are we glad we did. He was punctual, helpful, professional, and best of all a great DJ. We spoke with DJRT a few times leading up to the wedding giving him an outline of the night, how we wanted things to flow, a general list of music we wanted to hear, etc. and he hit all of these notes and more. If you are looking for a DJ for any event I wouldn't look much further and hope that he is available on your day because you wont regret it.

DJRT was great! He had the timing down to a t at our wedding and we all had fun dancing! During dinner, he stuck to my playlist but threw in some of his own ideas that totally worked with the feel of the gig! He is awesome and I'd recommend him to anyone!
